What is it that I’m suffering from?  Naked Interior Syndrome

What is it?  Read about it here: Many Homeowners Plagued by “Naked Interior Syndrome”

The older homes were filled with great little architectural details, from elaborate crown molding to carved doorway frames, and other neat little details that made a house an inviting home.  But it seems like most of the newer homes, especially the modular homes like mine, are lacking these inviting little architectural details, the finishing touches, the small things that give a home character and personality.

Lately, one of my favorite hobbies has been looking at interior design websites and the like trying to decide exactly what I want to do with my new house.  Right now, it’s like a giant blank canvas just waiting for an artist.  I have found an amazing website, for those of you, whom like me are redecorating or remodeling your homes.

It’s the perfect website to help me with my “blank canvas” of a house and my embarrassing Naked Interior Syndrome. InvitingHome.com not only sells the products I’m looking for, from crown molding and panel molding for around door ways and other special features, to intricately carved wooden corbels and rosettes,  not to mention great home furnishings and lighting fixtures.  They really do have it all!

But that’s not even the best part! They also have their website full of amazing interior design information to help you learn how to do it all, inspiration and design galleries and much, much more.

The articles are well written and very informative, they’re also super easy to navigate.   The design and inspiration galleries have wonderful photographs and examples of rooms of every kind and taste, along with great decorating tips and tricks, to help you make your home look like it was professionally decorated.

As far as interior design websites go, this is a great one!
