I know I’ve talked before about my parents ineptness on computers, but last night I think they reached an all time low.
A few weeks back my parents went out and bought a new laptop, I of course had it all picked out for them, they simply went to the store and picked it up. The reason for it is that they want to be able to access their banking accounts. (They are “snow birds” as we like to call people whom summer here in North Western PA, but spend their winters elsewhere. This year it’s in NC.)

My sister is still trying to lose weight, and now I finally know why. Apparently one of the OB/GYN doctors she works with at the hospital made a comment one night about how women should be able to drop all their pregnancy weight by the time the baby is six months old.
My sister’s little one is now nine months old.
She’s been trying every fad diet, diet pills and anything that claims to be the best fat burner around. She doesn’t seem to get it that the best fat burner is exercise!
My advice for those who wish to drop a few pounds - get a dog! Then walk it daily. Or a toddler works just as well! *wink*

As I work on organizing my entire house, I find that some things are easier to organize than others.
As we’re not fans of a lot of new television shows, we tend to buy a lot of DVDs. We now have close to a thousand of them. Due to storage space issues, we threw out all of the original packaging, the cases and such, and have them in the DVD holders and/or cake boxes, simply because we have three cases that hold 320 discs each and they’re all full, so I kept the empty cake boxes from my computer discs and just started stacking them in those.
Now the problem I’m finding is that I can think of no good way to organize them. I’ve tried alphabetical order, but that gets screwed up when you buy one new disc, you have to move all of the ones that fall after it to fit it in. I’ve tried organizing them by the year they were released, the same thing happens here - plus it makes them hard to find, as who remembers the year a movie that they want to watch came out.
I’m quickly running out of ideas, and very tired of spending hours looking for the DVD that I want.

Admit it, you know you have one! We all do. Those super secret fetishes that we keep hidden from the world, we don’t let anyone in on our secrets, not even our partners.
I know I do, a few of them actually. From smoking in the bathroom when no one’s home (he doesn’t allow smoking in the house), to how I spend some of my free time.
For years I’ve watched my husband, trying to find, to detect at least some hints of his secret fetishes, as if I could. I never detected any, and he’s a pretty open guy.
